FRIDAY NIGHT — THE GLOW
Watch the balloons inflate and light up, then walk among them, meet pilots and take photos.

SATURDAY — THE RACE
Watch more than 20 balloons take to the skies in a Hare & Hound competition.

New Haven City Park
🅿️ Parking
The Balloon Glow and Race are held at the New Haven City Park and is a walk through event only — not a drive through event. Park Drive will be closed for both events and spectators are encouraged to park on Lion’s Drive or in the New Haven High School and Municipal Swimming Pool parking lots. Additional parking will be available near the New Haven Youth Fair Tractor Pull pit area. Follow the signs for parking!

Our goal is always to launch as scheduled, however, exact launch time is weather dependent. The pilot team monitors wind conditions & flight path details in coordination with the national weather service, our pilots and air traffic control.
